Eating Your Own Money Pains Like You Stole It, but Giving It to a Girl You Love Doesn't Pain!

Part 3 of 3 Work and Discipline

Eat your money with wisdom, give to your woman with love, but first, GO WORK so that you have something to give!

Listen to the Kifuuta Oracle, abaana bange, because this one is deeper than Lake Tanganyika! Deeper than River Nile at Bujagali!

Eating your earned money pains! Abange, it pains as if you stole it! As if you picked it from the church basket!

You work, you dig in Nakibanga, Mityana, from 6 am to 6 pm under a sun that burns like a charcoal stove. You carry cement in Kisenyi until your spine sings. You drive a boda from Bwaise to Nakawa in the rain, with water entering your shoes. You get 20k.

You enter a shop to eat. You look at the menu. You calculate like a professor at Makerere. If I eat 15k, what will I remain with for tomorrow? If I eat meat, will I afford water?

Your own money, money that you sweated for, money that has your sweat, your dust, your blood inside, pains you to eat! It scratches your throat like dry posho with no soup! You swallow, and it returns! You feel guilt! You think, I should save! I should keep! I should not eat! You become your own thief!

But that one you give to a girl you want, it doesn't pain! At all! Not even a pinch!

You have 20k. Your last 20k. She says, "Babe, I want human hair." You send 20k. Swish! Mpaaaa! No pain! Chest out! You even add, "My love, is it enough?"

You have 100k for rent that the landlord is already knocking for. She says, "I need data for TikTok; my bundles are done." You send! You even borrow to send! You go to your friend: "Man, lend me 50k; my babe is offline!" You feel like a king! You feel like the Sultan himself! You feel like Sudhir buying Nakasero! Why? Because love blinds the pain of money! Love makes a poor man feel like a tycoon!

That is the heart of a man! A man's money was never meant to just sit in his pocket and rot like old cassava Mukeeke; it was meant to protect what he loves! It was meant to build a fence around his heart!

We make lots of money, small and big, and we take it to the bank! We queue like ants! We fill forms! We sign! We get ATM cards! We lock it with a PIN! We hide the PIN like it is witchcraft! We tell the bank, "Please keep my money safe for me! Please don't let thieves take it!"

But tell me, who of you has ever asked someone to keep his wife in a bank? Who has ever gone to Centenary Bank, Stanbic, Equity and said, "Sir, please keep my wife here in your vault. I am going to Dubai for 2 years. Keep her safe. Here is 10k for keeping fee"? No one! Not even one mad man in Owino!

Because the woman is the most valuable thing in the world! More valuable than money in the bank! More valuable than a land title! More valuable than gold! Gold you can keep in a bank! A land title you can keep in a bank! Money you can keep in Mobile Money! But a woman, a real woman, a wife, a mother of your children, you cannot keep in a bank account! No bank in the world has a vault for a woman's heart! No manager has a key for a woman's love!

You yourself, YOU alone, are the only bank that can keep this precious commodity! Your character is the vault! Your work is the lock! Your wallet is the key! Your sweat is the security guard!

Listen, young men! Put your ear here, near Kifuuta Oracle's mouth!

Work, young men! Mukole! Mukole! Because it is only the WALLET, not the gym chest, that locks your girl in a permanent bank! Permanent! With a padlock that rusts inside her heart!

Today, you young men have confused the safe with the lock! You are carrying empty safes on your heads!

You think the gym is the lock! You go to the gym, chest out, arms big like a toad that swallowed a jerrican. You oil yourself like a samosa. You take photos in the mirror with your mouth open. But, my son, the gym is just a safe WITHOUT A LOCK! Everyone has a key! Any man with a bigger chest, a bigger arm, and more oil can open it! Your girl will look today, admire tomorrow, and the day another man with a six-pack passes with biceps like matooke bunches, she goes! She goes like water! Because muscle opens the eyes, but it does not lock the heart! Muscle is for the eyes, not for the heart!

You think the sauna is the lock! You sit in steam until you look like boiled chicken. You shine like a chapati with ghee. You think you are handsome like a Muzungu, but the sauna is just a safe without a lock! Any man who sweats can open it! Even a boda man who has just pushed his bike sweats and shines!

You think TikTok is the lock! You dance, you shake, you show teeth, you make videos with a dog filter, you get 10k views, and you think you are famous: "I'm a content creator; I'm an influencer!" But TikTok is just a safe without a lock! Everyone has the key! A girl laughs today at your dance; another boy makes her laugh more tomorrow with a better dance. She goes! She scrolls to the next man! Because TikTok love is battery love: when data ends, love ends!

But WORK! A WORKING WALLET! A wallet that works every day, even on Sunday, even when you are sick. That one is a permanent bank with a permanent lock whose key is only with you! Only you!

When you work, when you can say, "Babe, your hair is done, your rent is sorted, your mother in the village has sugar, our child has school fees, your small sister has books," my son, that girl enters your bank, and she locks herself inside! She throws the key away! She says, "I will not go anywhere! This man is my bank! This man is my home! This man is my government!"

Not because she is a gold-digger! No! Don't insult our daughters! Because a woman, even Bijodolo's daughter, even the most beautiful girl from Buddu with eyes like a lake, wants SECURITY! She wants to know that the man she sleeps next to can stand when the landlord knocks at 6 am, banging like the police. Can stand when the baby cries at 2 am with a fever. Can stand when life gets hard and the world says, "You are poor!" She wants a man, not a boy with oil!

Beauty will bring a girl to your house, but WORK will keep her in your house!

Gym will bring her to your DM, but WALLET will bring her to your kitchen to cook for you!

Sauna will make her say, "You look nice," but WORK will make her say, "You are my husband!"

TikTok will give you followers, but WORK will give you a family!

iPhone will give you likes, but WORK will give you a wife who stays!

So, young men of Gayaza, Kalisizo, young men of Kifuuta, young men of Kampala shouting, "Life is hard, government," WOLOKOSO with a phone in hand:

Don't just build the body; build the bank!

Don't just shine the skin; fill the wallet!

Don't just dance on the phone; dig in the garden of life!

Don't just post; work!

Because this world has two types of safes:

A safe without a lock: gym, sauna, TikTok, iPhone, big chest, dreadlocks, tattoos. Everyone has the key; anyone can open it! Even a child can open it!

In Kifuuta, we say a safe with a permanent lock—WORK, WALLET, CHARACTER, RESPECT, SWEAT—only you have the key! And when a good woman enters there, she stays! She stays not because she is locked, but because she feels safe! She feels at home! She says, "Even if he is short, even if he is not handsome, this man is my bank that never collapses!"

Eat your money with wisdom, give to your woman with love, but first, GO WORK so that you have something to give!

The Kifuuta Oracle says, Mukole! Your body is not your CV! Your tattoos are not your bank balance! Your wallet with work inside it, that is your marriage certificate! That is your title deed!
