Economists! Stop staying in a textbook cage as you imprison the nation in government handouts without knowing the real fall.
I command you in the name of the gods of Kifuuta, Kyotera, Buddu: this can turn our economy in 4 YEARS!
Why are we at a standstill in mindset? Why are we stagnant in our economies? Why can our economists never think outside the textbook cage?
Because the textbook they read was written to keep us scattered.
Look at India, USA, England. 70% of rich people there are not first-generation rich. They are generational businesses. Grandad's shop feeds generations. One name, one business, 100 years.
I have been to India and studied them. Three generations sleep in ONE apartment! Not because they have no land. India has land. But they know: to keep investment, you must keep family together. Father, son, grandson work in the SAME place. Mistakes are corrected, not repeated. Luck is concentrated, not divided.
In America, the Rockefellers found oil in 1870. Today, 2026, great-great-grandchildren still drink from that same well. How? Family Trust. No son can sell. You only inherit a ROLE.
In England, the Cadburys' one small chocolate shop in 1824 still feeds thousands today.
Now come to Uganda, to Buddu. And come to my home, to Nakibizi.
We USED to stay together! Our families used to stay together! Grandfather, father, children, grandchildren: one big compound. We used to dig together, harvest together, and sell together. One granary. One kraal. One voice.
I AM A WITNESS.
My Jjajja, Livingstone Naidoo Mukasa, started a bakery in Nakibizi in 1968, making the famous LIVING BREAD, which was the main competitor of TIPTOP bread. All my Kojjas were made to work in that place, slept and made the homestead busy. We all lived together. The business was massive!

For a period of 40 years, we ate on the same Lujjulilo, watched one TV. The bakery was the employer of all children of Jjajja, and all his sons worked and stayed at home, and those who married stayed around.
Each Kojja was in charge of some activity. Production was Uncle Mako. Sales was Jjajja Livingstone Naidoo and Uncle Rich. Me and Uncle Paul brought water, firewood, and kept as unknown guards because we were young and, mingling with workers, we would tell who had stolen what and report to Jjajja. That is why we started driving at 14 years to fetch water and firewood from far in Nyenga, Bulugi, Kitigoma, Namwezi.
We had over 10 vehicles at home. One compound, one business, one fire.
Then colonial methods that had been planted in us started to work. My Kojjas each started building other businesses in Busembatya, Jinja, Mbale, Bakuli in Kampala, not as expansion for the bakery as a family, but as my own business. The steam of the 40-year business started to crumble slowly.
Those 10 vehicles were distributed to the other businesses, and that was the beginning of the fall for Living Bread.
My Jjajja was now old. He did not have the steam of 50 years. He was 76 years old and died at 78 years.
My Kojjas, instead of consolidating the gains, eating together, each one wanted to make his own bread. The business collapsed. For the last 30 years, no project has ever taken root again.
Had they stayed together and worked in uniform, they would have stayed until now!
That is the story of Uganda! Zzimwe built, but sons scattered. Livingstone built, but Kojjas scattered.

One family, four homes. Father in Kifuuta, son in Jinja, another in Kampala, daughter in Kyotera. Four rents, four kitchens, four problems. We spread the business, we spread the luck, we spread the strategies until nothing remains.
And now government comes with PDM. It gives father PDM, gives son PDM, gives grandson PDM separately! Instead of these three sitting down and joining forces, they each run a different show! Father buys a pig that dies, son buys boda that is impounded, grandson eats it in betting. Three monies, zero wealth. This is killing yourself while eating!
THIS "ONE MAN, ONE HOME" IS THE ROPE IN OUR NECKS!
It is choking us!
WAKE UP! THE REORGANIZATION:
Return to the Compound Economy. Our grandfathers were not primitive; they were professors of generational wealth. One compound, one farm, one business, many hands. My Jjaajja proved it for 25 years! Proximity is profit.
From PDM for Eating to PDM for Building. Don't eat PDM alone. Sit as family. Father + Son + Grandson = 9 million. That is not three small dead businesses. That is ONE milk cooler, ONE Living Bread revived that will feed grandchildren. PDM should be a family trust, not pocket money.
Stop Starting, Start Expanding. The colonial lie: "Start your own business."
The truth of the rich: "Expand your father's business."
It is 10 times cheaper to make one bakery big than to start four small ones that die.
Write the Family Constitution. Like Rockefeller, like my Jjaajja, who gave each Kojja a role: who keeps the land title? Who manages production? Who markets? In our old system, roles were clear. Eldest kept the fire. Younger fetched firewood. Today we fight because no roles.
Brothers and sisters of Kifuuta, Buddu, wealth is not scattered seeds. Wealth is ONE TREE watered by grandfather, pruned by father, harvested by grandson.
My family had the tree, Living Bread. We cut it into firewood.
Until we break this rope of "one man, one home", until we return to digging together, harvesting together, selling together, our companies will die at funerals and foreigners will continue to own shops in our own villages.
Look at HE Museveni. In the late 1950s, he started his dream. He made the Projects. He's an army man, General, son General, and grandkids will be Generals soon. That's what they call generational dreams. They have stayed together for 50 years in one homestead, learned business, long-term economics.

In Kifuuta, the Oracles say: Consolidate or perish. Wake up! Nze mbabulide. Find me in Kifuuta, Katooke, Kyotera, Buddu.
